Dan-List Dowel Boring / Slot Milling Machine Model BMSP 2013

Dan-List BMSP 2013 is a manually operated dowel boring / slot milling machine.

It is a sturdy, rock solid machine, with very little need for maintenance, which has both adjustable boring units as well as adjustable slot milling unit in the same machine. Each of the units can be placed either horizontally and vertically or both, as per customer's needs.

The Dan-List BMSP 2013 has a simple but flexible design, based on a very strong and solid machine frame and is quite simply built to last.

For example the Dan-List BMSP 2013 can be equipped with:

• any number of boring units for boring from top,
• any number of boring units for boring from side,
• any number of boring units for boring from end,
• any number of boring units for boring from bottom,
• any number of slot milling units from side,
• any number of slot milling units from top,
• any number of clamping cylinders.

It is ideal machine for manually boring / milling of e.g. for bottom frame windows with locks / handles, or also for locks and hinges for doors.

The Dan-List BMSP 2013 is individually constructed as per customer’s request and can work with curved as well as plain work pieces.

Safety:

The Dan-List BMSP 2013 is very safe and simple to operate.

As operator safety is a keyword for all Dan-List machines, the Dan-List BMSP 2013 has safety guards to protect the operator from touching the items during production.

Furthermore Dan-List BMSP 2013 is equipped with a CE approved dual hand release system where both buttons must be activated to start the working cycle.

This prevents the operator from any contact with any moving parts during working cycle at all times.

If the operator accidently removes the fingers from one button, the machine stops immediately.

The working cycle is as follows:

1. The workpiece is placed manually in position,
2. The pneumatic foot pedal is activated to clamp the workpiece,
3. Both buttons are activated and work cycle starts,
4. When cycle is finished all units returns automatically to starting position and stops,
5. Then the operator can manually remove the finished work piece.

As the machine is operated manually, the capacity depends on the operator.

The set-up of the machine is easy and operator friendly. The operator loosen two handles on the carriers for the boring units and slot milling units, slide the units to correct position, which is shown with a digital display and lock the handles again.

To make the set up even easier it is possible to add flip stops so the operator just slide the boring units against the flip stops and tighten the handles. Another alternative is also to equip the carriers with digital read outs, so correct position is easily found.

The boring unit revolve 90°around its own axis, and the boring head itself, revolve 360° around its own axis
