Dan-List Dowel Boring Machine Model BASP 2000

Dan-List BASP 2000 is a combined manually operated / semi-automatic operated dowel boring machine. The machine must be loaded manually, but once drilling cycle is activated the table moves automatically between the two lines with drilling units. Once the cycle is finished the work piece must be unloaded again manually.

It is a compact and solid machine which works standard with eight adjustable boring units for top borings (others can be added upon request).

The Dan-List BASP 2000 has a simple but flexible design, based on a traditional, very strong and solid machine frame with an automatically moving table, including safety guards and is quite simply built to last.

Dan-List BASP 2000 is a solid, reliable and efficient dowel boring machine, which guarantees a trouble free production run.

The machine is designed for drilling walls for separation in open office environments.

Due to the fact that Dan-List BASP 2000 is manually operated, the capacity determines from the skills of the operator.

Equipment:

Standard the Dan-List BASP 2000 is equipped as follows:

  • 1 moving working table,
  • 2 lines of boring units for boring from the top – each line consists of 4 boring units,
  • 6 pcs clamping cylinders,
  • Manually loading and unloading.

The boring unit revolve 90° around its own axis, and the boring head itself, revolve 360° around its own axis.

Safety:

As safety for the operator is a keyword on all Dan-List machines, all safety guards which can be opened contain safety switches so if the operator accidently opens a safety guard during production the machine stops.

Or if a safety guard has not been closed properly after set up, the machine will not start.

All safety features are monitored in the PLC control, and can be seen on the touch screen, if any safety devices are activated.

It is impossible for the operator to access the machine in any way during production.

As the Dan-List BASP 2000 is manually operated, the drilling cycle can only be activated through a dual hand release system, preventing the operator from getting near the units during operation. As soon as the operator remove his hands from one of the buttons, the machine stops immediately no matter where in the drilling cycle it is.

PLC:

The PLC contains many features, for example:

  • On/off function for each boring unit,
  • Time controlled cleaning function of drilling,
  • Programmable counter,
  • Adjustable time for air blowing of drilled work pieces,
  • Adjustable speed of table,
  • Touch screen in English ( also available in local language ),
  • Possibility to add Ethernet connection in order to access the PLC online from our factory,
  • Individual requests

Working Procedure:

The working cycle of Dan-List BASP 2000 is the following:

  1. Choose which drilling units should be activated and which should be deactivated,
  2. Start the machine,
  3. Place the work piece manually on the working table,
  4. Activate the foot pedal to clamp the workpiece,
  5. Activate the dual hand release system in order to activate the drilling cycle,
  6. Remove the finished work piece manually when the cycle is finished.

The Dan-List BASP 2000 has two lines with four boring units each. These lines are fixed, but an automatic moving working table makes it possible to use all boring units, to reach a very small distance between the holes.

Set-up:

The set-up of the machine is easy and operator friendly.

The operator loosen two handles on the carriers for the boring units, slide the boring units to correct position and lock the handles again.

Each boring unit has a digital reader so correct position is easily found.

Individual requests for set up is also available, see other alternatives here.
