Dan-List Dowel Boring Machine Model BASP 3000 Autoset

Dan-List Autoset BASP 3000 is an efficient and reliable, Danish made fully automatic boring machine for doors and cabinets of any kind. Due to a special and very careful handling system even doors where the glass has already been inserted can be handled and drilled for hinges. Dan-List BASP 3000 Autoset has fully automatic set up through the touch screen with a memory of up to 99 different programs, which can be extended if needed.

Dan-List Autoset BASP 3000 takes the doors directly from an assembling machine for drilling of hinges. After drilling the finished doors continues to an automatic packing line, without any further handling.

Dan-List Autoset BASP 3000 has eight boring units, four for left side borings and four for right side drillings. This construction makes it possible to drill both left and right hand hinges in the same set up, without having to adjust the machine.

The setup of the machine is 100% automatically done through the touch screen where each position of boring units, drilling depth, clamping cylinders, magazine etc., are entered and stored. Next time you need to run the same work piece, all you need to do is to enter the program number at the touch screen and the machine sets everything automatically with a precision of 1/10 mm. within 60 seconds.

Nothing needs to be set manually, apart from changing of drills.

This makes the Dan-List Autoset BASP 3000 unique for the just in time production, where stock is kept to a minimum and only orders are manufactured. Just in time production requires many set ups during a working day. Set up and change over time is expensive and time consuming and therefore a set up time of less than 60 seconds is exactly what this kind of production needs.

Obviously Dan-List Autoset BASP 3000 is also ideal for the flexible production with many set ups during the working day. The focus to reduce set up time to a minimum is fully achieved with the Dan-List Autoset BASP 3000.

Dan-List Autoset BASP 3000 consists of one heavy duty build machine frame. Dan-List Autoset BASP 3000 has working station with eight drilling units. (As mentioned earlier four for the left side drillings and four for the right hand drillings) The capacity varies and will be quoted exact with each quotation of a new machine.

A full working cycle could for example be:

1. Enter the program number at the touch screen.
2. Dan-List Autoset BASP 3000 sets up automatically and will be ready for drilling within 60 seconds.
3. The door is taken directly from the assembling machine with a conveyor into the first working station. (Due to the special careful handling system the doors can be equipped with glass before drilling)
4. Left or right side hinges are drilled according to chosen program. Drillings are done from the bottom.
5. After drillings the doors continues automatically from the Dan-List Autoset BASP 3000 to an automatic packing line without any further handling.

The operator language in the touch screen is normally English, but can be translated to local language also.

Minimum and maximum size of work pieces are individually determined.

Components used: The Dan-List Autoset BASP 3000 machines are built to last. All components used are made in Europe of the highest possible quality and sub suppliers are well known companies in the industry.

Furthermore the boring heads and units are made in our own factory in Denmark, with a precision for each spindle of approx. 0.003 mm. This secures that our boring heads and units will last many many years even in a 24/7 production.
