Dan-List Custom Made Dowel Boring Heads / Drill Blocks

The Dan-List custom made dowel boring heads / drill blocks are all made per order. It can be any kind of applications with spindles off line from center, two lines of spindles opposite each other, a triangle drilling application, any special application for locks, hinges etc. If you have a challenge with an existing drilling application in your production, you are always welcome to send us the drawing and we will prepare a quotation without any obligation.

Dan-List custom made dowel boring heads are all made in one of our own factories, on our top modern CNC machining centers with the highest precision and lowest possible tolerances. The tolerances for the spindles are less than 3/1000 mm.

We are proud to say that our dowel boring heads are among the longest lasting in the market, with some of the best and most reliable performances – no matter if the boring heads are used in one shift or in three shifts, 24/7. This has been highly appreciated by our customers for many years.

All components are made in Denmark and each finished unit is quality tested in order to reach the highest possible quality and to reduce down time to less than 0,5% at the customer. Our custom made dowel boring heads are simply made for high volume production.

Each spindle is hardened and after the hardening process each spindle is precision ground.

The custom made boring heads works with 2800 rpm as standard, but an inverter can be added to increase rpm up to 5.000 rpm.

Minimum distance between centres can go as low as 14 mm.

The custom made dowel boring heads are always constructed after drawings and quoted individually. The delivery time varies from 6 to 10 weeks.

Quick locks can be adapted to the custom made boring heads, but standard the custom made boring heads are delivered with an 8 mm thread.

The Dan-List custom made dowel boring head can be tilted 360 degrees.

The Dan-List custom made dowel boring heads fits all existing Dan-List machines and can also be prepared to fit different machines.
